Design Iteration Strategy
Introduction
Product design improvement for operating system is usually app based or feature based which is more a vertical audit. If we can create a behavior based enhancement method, it will fit cross apps user behavior better.
My Role
To ensure the ability to refine our product experience in a systematical way, I created a UX Driven Program as a product design iteration strategy.
* In this case study, I am using Onboarding Experience for it's the first thing that matters to our users and business partners.

Onboarding Experience
The onboarding experience should not be limited to first time phone setup process but a continuous journey to let users progressively lean the basic skills to use a device.

Result
The UX driven methodology was proposed to cross-functional team leads and approved by top management. It is now part of KaiOS' product design iteration strategy and is owned by UX team.
The approach is also welcomed by designers, because owning an experience allows them to provide effective and cross-apps/features solution which also results in a sense of achievement at work.
Most importantly, take Onboarding Experience as an example, we got very positive feedback from users and our business partners. So it is proven a good design enhancement approach that should continue.
